Chandu: You there, listen - today I attended WWE, was awesome...
Me: Cool
Chandu: In between they showed McCain and Obama at different intervals of time in which they tell the crowd that they watch WWE...
Me: I see… then they don’t get my vote for sure (as I am not much of a WWE fan)
Chandu: Dude, trust me, if
Chandu: And trust me, half the crowd in that match was not from
Me: Hmmm
Chandu: How is Obama being given a cakewalk?
Me: Media push plus economic depression…
Chandu: Hmmm...
Me: If it wasn’t for Bush, Obama would not have a chance...
Chandu: I guess so…
Me: Hmmm… So not sleeping?
Chandu: Should sleep… I just completed uploading the pics from the show in Orkut…
Me: Nice...
Chandu: Massive crowd dude... It was amazing the way they cheer and boo together… They act as a wave...
Me: Oh… Anyways, I don’t know why people hate McCain so much... If racism exists against Obama, the same applies to McCain too…
Chandu: Yea, I felt the same... Infact, I felt so during the debate which I saw for the first time… live on TV...
Me: Oh... Which one? The first one or the second one?
Me: Hmmm.. Finally someone sees through what I have been shouting all along....
Chandu: Sorry for the delay... But I had to see it myself to make myself clear…
Me: I told people - Obama is just globing around and has no clear plan at all... He speaks like typical Ivy League graduate... It’s ok man... Finally I feel that my shouting and all were worth something…
Chandu: And secondly, I was running at a pace of 7.2 on a treadmill for a total distance of 3 miles...So I had to concentrate on something... and I had this debate going on my personal screen...
After so many months of blogging about the US elections, I felt happy for the first time that there was someone who got the nail hit on the head at the same point as myself. It was not because of my blogging, nor my position. But it was what he felt when he listened to the debate (as impartial as he can, as he had no particular affiliation for either side as far as I am aware of) with concentration (and not with a particular interest in Obama or McCain).
For once, I feel happy that someone understood my point.
Next post will be on my "parallel universe" idea, the one which helped me win that small prize...
Ciao till then.
